Burlesque Performers

The Burlesque revival movement is on! Burlesque is much more than stripping for dollars, woman pleasuring men, it is theatre. Thespians have embraced the history of burlesque and revived it through a growing number of troupes and venues. Burlesque festivals have created a national community of devotee's. Media exposure by way of the internet, videos and television are destined to ensure the success of the movement as well. Burlesque involves a diverse world of performers including; comedians, musicians, freak show performers,costumers, set designers all joining the stage with the burlesque artisans to create a couples-friendly variety act.
