I shall the effect of this good lesson keep, As watchman to my heart. But, good my brother, Do not, as some ungracious pastors do, Show me the steep and thorny way to heaven; Whiles, like a puff'd and reckless libertine, Himself the primrose path of dalliance treads, And recks not his own rede.

Kicky La Rue

Peering from behind the flap of the circus tent, little Kicky of Nashville watched as her mother swung from the flying trapeze and said to herself, "I can do that!" Kicky's girlhood was split between traveling the world with her mother's troupe, Cirque Stiletto, and helping out at her Creole Daddy's garage, becoming equally adept at applying rhinestones to costumes and changing sparkplugs.

Blessed with a glamour-queen smile, endless gams, and boundless energy, the lithe and limber Miss La Rue demonstrates a grasp of torque and velocity that would make both parents proud. A performance by this rising star of the burlesque stage is an event not to be missed! In her spare time, Miss La Rue enjoys reading important books, taking bubble baths, and playing with her French poodle.
