Hippie love child, punk teenager, pre mid-life crisis victim

I shall the effect of this good lesson keep, As watchman to my heart. But, good my brother, Do not, as some ungracious pastors do, Show me the steep and thorny way to heaven; Whiles, like a puff'd and reckless libertine, Himself the primrose path of dalliance treads, And recks not his own rede.

Oh de Twirlette

Oh de Twirlette, the underground baton twirling troupe, is committed to refining, preserving and popularizing the art of baton twirling. These lovely young ladies have released their art form from its former connotation as a high school sport and created a new kind of baton twirling that is sexier, more elegant and more humorous. Twirling to music from surf to swing to punk rock, they appropriate baton into each genre. This "cliché busting" choreography was noted by Bust magazine for its "dazzling" twirling tricks and "Rockettes-style precision." Oh de Twirlette is a movement, which will take baton twirling into the 21st Century! The NY Post has noted: "Downtown denizens already made burlesque dancing hip. Now they're doing the same with baton twirling."Visit them at www.ohdetwirlette.net.

Oh de Twirlette

Oh de Twirlette (Mary Jane Hunter, Susan Kosor, Urania Mylonas and Veronica Dougherty) combines dance and baton skill in an utterly infectious performance act with wide appeal. These lovely young ladies (choreographed by the intrepid Kosor) twirl in synchronized perfection to various musical genres from 20's Charleston swing to punk rock, and have performed at venues from the genteel Cornelia Street CafŽ to Brooklyn hipster hangout Luxx. Oh de Twirlette has strutted its stuff at a variety of events, from the Lincoln Center Convergence Parade to the Williamsburg Dog Parade. Most importantly, these ladies look adorable in short shorts.
