Wednesday, June 28, 2006Left Column LinksGroovy Stuff Art stuff Tuesday, June 27, 2006History of PaintingRegi you need another web project. Continue doing your repetitive organizing, copying and pasting and cataloging, it will help you to avoid doing anything constructive and creative. All of your dreams should remain dreams. Your never going to buy that little factory down the road and create the ______ Art Factory and Do Dah Parade Workshop and when your inlaws die they wont give you the millions that they say they have, they just said that so you would marry their daughter. Damn Lawyers! Waste your time creating a list and photo album of famous painters. Get going. Oh and dont bother to teach yourself Flash to show your ether friends, they dont care. History of Painting set (for now I am focusing on the first decade of the 20th century) Pablo Picasso Fauves- Georges Braque Charles Camoin Andre Derain Raoul Dufy Emile-Othon Friesz Erich Heckel Alexej von Jawlensky Wassily Kandinsky Ernst-Ludwig Kirchner August Macke Henri-Charles Manguin Franz Marc Maurice Marinot Albert Marquet Henri Matisse Paula Modersohn-Becker Emil Nolde Max Pechstein Hans Purrman Jean Puy Karl Schmidt-Rottluff Matthew Smith Louis Valtat Kees Van Dongen Maurice de Vlaminck Rik Wouters Expressionists- Ernst Barlach Max Beckmann Heinrich Campendonk Lovis Corinth Otto Dix James Ensor Lyonel Feininger George Grosz Erich Heckel Franz Heckendorf Ferdinand Hodler Karl Hofer Hermann Huber Willy Jaeckel Alexej von Jawlensky Wassily Kandinsky Ernst Ludwig Kirchner Paul Klee Oskar Kokoschka Kathe Kollwitz Alfred Kubin Max Liebermann August Macke Helmut Macke Franz Marc Ludwig Meidner Paula Modersohn-Becker Otto Mueller Edvard Munch Heinrich Nauen Emil Nolde Max Pechstein Christian Rohlfs Saturday, June 24, 2006Big Apple Burlesque Friday, June 16, 2006New York PaintersThey're available here in a contact sheet layout and a flash slideshow. Keep things organized Regi and once your organized organize it again. Must have structure.
Saturday, June 10, 2006Three ColumnsI always wanted three columns for my blog and so I searched far and wide for a new template. This one works ok but needs to be improved. My biggest gripe is the way comments appear, I have more code altering to do. Anyway that column on the right side is for all the groovy things that I saw other blogs have but my old blog didn't have room for. The book collection by Library Thing is a groovy idea and I have seen some iTunes blog add-ons that Im going to try. But the grooviest thing is the schedule of Upcoming events like this one. (dont skip to read it) Upcoming.org lets you post events and then the bloggy code will import the info onto your blog. To get started you join Upcoming.org then join a "Metro"then search for an event or post an event. For the event I'm talking about I also created the venue then the event for the venue. But now that the venue is created anyone (the venue people hopefully) can add events. This schedule idea would be perfect over at Painter NYC. But we all have more interests then great art and artists so I thought this idea would be perfect for the groovy bloggy people. Monday, June 05, 2006Happy anniversaryHappy 20th "steal Regi's virginity" anniversary, Sue. I'll celebrate many birthdays and might even get married more than once (not counting on it) but a person can only lose their virginity once in a lifetime. If you stumble across this post Sue drop me a comment. I hope your doing well. I haven't forgotten Thursday June 5th 1986.
