The sound of painting

I'm teaching myself how to make Flash animations. My Flash book wants me to make stick-men animations but I would rather make animations of paintings, Ken Burns' style. Paintings by these artists (maybe more) will be shown the animation will pan around the work and other groovy moves. Then the name of the artist will be shown. I want these animations to have audio and that got me thinking about what sounds/music should be associated with these artists. Some of my audio ideas:



electronica sounds


atmospheric, rustling trees, maybe insects



mumbling voices, orchestral



birds, nature sounds



Im having a hard time figuring this one out.



sonic youth noise?

Anyway I will be learning this Flash thing for along time so it will take me ALONG time to create an animation. And true to form, if it is too difficult I will give up, so any help will be appreciated.
