Burning Angel

Joanna Angel is the founder and owner of Burning Angel.com and has been referred to as "The Madame of Punk Rock Porn.” Leading a smutty life both on and off camera, Joanna seeks out most of the talent on the site, in some cases sampling the talent before deciding to shoot with them.

Before founding Burning Angel.com - as a punk rocker with a desire to irk people - Joanna continuously tested all boundaries of common decency. While righteously testing these boundaries, she discovered her right to the first amendment – freedom of speech - and used it to create BA. Joanna is loud, charismatic and passionate about her porn site. She will freely discuss her business venture, her scandalous photo sets and penetrating videos to anyone and everyone. She loves all aspects of the business, and enjoys being on both sides of the camera. She is without a doubt more perverted than the average man.

An up-and-coming starlet with personality and intelligence, Ms. Angel does band interviews for the BA website and DVD releases, asking the bands intimate questions about sex and porn. She's interviewed over 100 bands including Marilyn Manson, Slash, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Joanna's even been asked to contribute to a book about women who revolutionized the sex industry, to be released by Avalon Press. Other contributions include some of the most famous women in business, Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick and Candida Royale to name a few.

The first Burning Angel DVD, BurningAngel.com>: The Movie is her debut anal scene. Besides taking it in the ass and performing in two scenes, Joanna’s also a major creative contributor on the DVD. Joanna acted as producer and assistant director on the film, and conducted all the raunchy band interviews. With several more upcoming Burning Angel releases this year, expect to see her penetrated more creatively in future features.

Speaking of being penetrated, recently Ms. Angel played the zombie slut in the BA horror-porn production Re-penetrator (a parody of H.P Lovecraft’s Re-Animator). The film ended up being so graphic Joanna found herself in a battle with BA's billing company to keep the film online. The film ended up being banned by all American web-hosts and is currently hosted by a Dutch web server. The unique story was covered by most major Adult News outlets including AVN, XBIZ, Fleshbot and Screw Magazine.

Joanna Angel is making waves in the porn industry, but for an entirely different reason than most -- as her friend and role model Tristan Taormino put it, "I don't do porn for the money, I do it 'cuz it's fun."
